It's been a while since we connected directly with you and we really do miss you. A lot has been happening, keeping us plenty-busy!
💖 October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. We partnered with the African Women's Cancer Awareness Association in collaboration with Melanee Williams, Kingsley Models, and A Beautiful Closet to bring together a creative display of hair, art, fashion and love at AWCAA's 11th annual fundraising gala.💃🏾 We saw women come together from all over to the Washington DC area for this event in celebration and honor of breast cancer fighters, survivors, and awareness advocacy. If you haven't already, be sure to check out our recent posts on Instagram or Facebook to see more footage from behind the scenes of the event along with New Village Braid’s feature on Washington DC‘s news WUSA9
In addition to all the love from beautiful customers like you, it's our partnerships that really fuel the work we are doing to provide better braiding options to braid lovers around the world.🌍 It's always an honor for New Village Braid to lend our support and advocacy for worthwhile causes. And we also believe that as individuals, we each have a role to play in making progress against many of these causes.
