Why does the recycling kit have a cost?
Recycling synthetic hair requires collection, transportation and specialized processing. Like other commercial recycling programs for materials such as electronics and batteries, responsible recovery depends on dedicated collection, shipping and processing systems.
New Village Braid previously allowed customers to mail hair to us independently while we absorbed the cost of processing it for recycling. While we loved making the service available, that model wasn't sustainable long term.
